Unheard tracks

Hi everyone!! This is my first topic not only on this blog, but in a blog in general, so sorry if I'm gonna ask you something that's already been answered but... Are there some Blur/Gorillaz/Graham/Damon songs you heard about but never got the chance to listen to?
For instance, I'd love to hear the "melancholy" demo of Country House, the song "Death Metal" from the 13 sessions, "Carousel", the song Damon played with TGTB&TQ in 2007, "Leviathan", from the Plastic Beach sessions... And many more!
I'd L-O-V-E to hear some of those tunes.. Do you know if some of them are somehow available? Which are the unheard tracks you'd like to listen to?

And then there are the songs that people just want you to think are unheard!

I'd love to hear the demo of "The Universal" which had a "calypso feel" according to Alex.

And I'd like to hear the "15 songs" that -according to Damon- Blur "recorded" in Hong Kong in 2013

Yeah, I'd love to hear "the universal" demo too!! As well as the ideas that came out the sessions in Hong Kong last year, of course!! It would be great to hear more of Damon's own demos of Blur tracks, the ones he used to record only by his own, just like the Beetlebum early version included in the 21 box set!

I want to hear the 13 sessions and the demos from that period. Think Tank as well, I remember Damon saying they recorded close to 30 (I think) full tracks but obviously only some of those made the album and became b-sides. What happened to the others? Desperately want to hear them.

You guys don't seem to want that 30 minute version of "Rednecks".

What is wrong with you people?

I did feel the 21 boxset was a little lacking in demo's from the TGE, Blur & 13 era to be honest, would have loved to have heard more even if it wasn't full band demo's and just at the Damon idea stage.

I think Damon was being stingy with his demos on for the 21 box set. Or they were all too lazy to look for them.

Both. The problem I have is that they marketed it as containing everything they had in the vaults when all of us were able to conclusively show within days of its release that that was patently not true.

(Yes I know it comes off like we're all whining about only getting 95% of everything...a first world problem indeed).

have the feeling Damon keeps his demo ideas for ages, see "death of a party" or "on melancholy hill", so who knows if he still wants to use them for some further releases
