Good point, as evidenced by I Got Law, for instance, as well as a bunch of stuff from DemoCrazy (of which I've misplaced my copy!)

That will accompany the "DEFINITELY NOT Reuniting Just to Cash in On the Hits" tour after we've hit 20 years of speculation over whether or not they'll ever record a new album.

The first time they reunited they did one track.
The second time they did two.
I figure they'll do a full LP about seven reunions down the road. :P

I assume they had limited space and had to pick the best from the bunch?

Not hardly! Many of the discs are not filled close to capacity, and that goes for the albums as well as the rarities discs. They easily could've.

 Who knows? My only beef is they marketed it as having everything when we all knew it didn't.

i really like to hear alternative version of crazy beat. without donald duck and different lyrics.

ambulance (demo) will be also nice.

and saturday-damon said it was to "poppy" to put it on TT. i liek to hear this catchy tune.

The Blur 21 app made it worse, because the app had 30-second samples of a bunch of songs, and some of the songs (ex: 6-minute version of Chemical World) weren't in the box.

Ambulance demo would have been worth hearing and I agree about hearing Saturday from the TT sessions. We got Sir Elton Johns Cock and to be honest when reading about it in a Blurb during the TT period I though it would just be a load of random noise, rather than the very short but sweet song it turned out to be, so why no Saturday?

I'd love to hear lots of demo's from the last 3 albums in particular, 13 may have been pieced together as explained in NDLTR, but there must have been demo's with the band or just Damon, stripped back early workings of some of the songs would have been interesting.

Ambulance demo would be at the top of the list for me. I'd love to hear that. The Sweet Song (Demo Idea) was divine and arguably better than the album version. I can only imagine how gorgeous Ambulance must have sounded in demo form. I'm wet at the thought...

i read somewhere (i think in blurb) that first idea of ambulance was to put this song on gorillaz album. and i agree about sweet song-it's 10000 better than final version.

about 13 session-really i don't think if they had songs from that session. mauybe more jam session like battle jam, but full songs? no ( that's why they put all we want to tender b-side cos they don't have more songs)

firs idea of song 2 ? it was a reagge tune!

Ambulance was meant for the Gorillaz album? Well I'm glad that didn't happen! The Blur version is gorgeous. There must be a number of demos out there though of that one song. If it was meant for Gorillaz I'm guessing Damon would have demoed it between 1998-2000. Then demoed it again around 2002 for Blur.
