I have my own winner, however. If I ever had to pick one Beck song alone, well... it's on this album.

I have no idea which song I want to win from this album. So many great songs. Devil's Haircut and Where It's At probably stand out the most but then there another 4-6 songs which I wouldn't mind winning either. DAMN IT!!

Waiting on Miko and AdvertBreak I think? 2 votes apiece, couldn't be tighter!

Well, mine is Jackass. That to me is the perfect synthesis of Beck: hip-hop samples and beats, folk melody and acoustic feel; great lyrics suspended between surreal poetry and romantic balladry. And the orchestral and mariachi versions are both gorgeous

Devils Haircut, The New Pollution and Where It's At are classics that still get audiences excited soon as the first notes start.

Hotwax, Lord Only Knows and Sissyneck are a trio of left-fielders that are difficult to ignore.

I think this is Beck's best album but it's not my favourite. I'll always take The Information over it because I have great memories of buying that. My first Beck album!! But Odelay...boy, what an album. Such a wealth of material and it's ageless don't you think? I was listening to it earlier and it could have been released yesterday.

Oh, it's definitely a classic. RS included it in its 500 Greatest Albums of All Time list (and there are some really important albums in that list!). It's one of two Beck albums that were included (the other being Sea Change) and his highest placement in the list.
