I need to give it more listens. It didn't instantly grab me like the first two albums did funnily enough. I'll stick with it though.

Yes! I think I mentioned it on this thread. Really great stuff.

So the new Titus Andronicus album came out today and it's definitely in my 2015 top 5 so far. It has been leaked for a few weeks now so I had already given it a few spins and it just keeps blowing me away.

It also seems we're getting a new Deafheaven album this year so everything's okay in my world. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=952-KAXOQqg" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I've never listened to Titus Andronicus. I just heard the song 'Lonely Boy'. I think I'm in love.

Get The Monitor first and then their last record. They'll blow you away.

I know I'm repeating myself here but The Most Lamentable Tragedy is definitely my favourite album of the year. Oh and Pitchforky hipsters are hating it cause concept rock double albums aren't cool enough anymore, which makes it more fun to defend it as AOTY. I do hope the whole opera is released sooner or later. Here's Act Two anyway. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YKdWBpXlc6E" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

a-ha
The Libertines
Duran Duran
Slayer
Lana Del Rey
New Order

(with Deafheaven and Editors early October)

New Beach House is good. It feels kind of like a slightly stripped back Loveless.

Yeah, it's definitely that kind of record that gets much better if you go all the way through it without skipping any track, you've got to get into it cause it really doesn't have a big hit. It's not as good as Teen Dream but then again that's one of the best records of the 21st century so I really couldn't ask for more.

Oh, and to make September yet more expensive: Bowie box.
My wife's not going to be pleased.
