My band made this.

If you like shoegaze you'll probably dig some of this.

So me and my friend who has a practically completely different taste in music (he likes (imo really unbearably shitty) modern EDM) maybe for the lols or to kill time attempted to make a track together in a drum and bassy type style. It samples quotes from Red Dwarf, a lot (and at my personal request, Look Around You and Catchphrase get sampled each once). Anyway its actually not terrible, although I think its too much like him and he thinks its too much like me (it really isn't :P) but its a mutual handshake of taste. When its mastered I'll probably link to it.

Already posted this in another thread, but my band recorded a demo yesterday that we think is pretty sweet.

Notes:
I'm on guitar.
Jake is on bass.
Cal doesn't play drums, but is on drums anyway (hence slip-ups).
This was our first time practising together.

Making a semi-improvised electronic EP which is going terribly.

1. "Leucippotomy"
2. "Karlheinz Stockhausen Live at Creamfields"
3. "Fewst"
4. "Exuding Screech"
5. "Ambitious" (Wire cover)

It is quite "experimental"

I used korg volca beats drum machine and arturia microbrute synth and just fucked around with them

Having a hardware drum machine like that has made everything much easier, I use as backing for guitar stuff too

Do you mean instruments etc or stuff to record onto?

I just used my computer which I don't think is ideal really, I'd much prefer to be able to record to tape, need to get the right equipment
