Saw blur for the first time on Saturday. Completely and utterly overwhelmed, now feeling despair now it's all over. I'm gonna make sure I see them again at some point in the UK if and when they play.

I hope they will play a few more shows in the autumn, to wrap things up. It was my seventh time seeing them, and third in Hyde park, and though it was a spectacular performance, I'd like to see a more "sophisticated" setlist, not just the usual crowd pleasers - but Hyde Park it's not the right place for that.

Really cool atmosphere because everyone knew the words made it for me, so many happy people in a room

Saw The Horrors today - they were performing at Afisha Picnic festival. They were really good, but the setlist was incredibly small - only 8 songs! Still I had a great fun, and there were some great local bands and singers too which made this a good concert.

I also went to a small local festival today! I was there from start until it finished at 12, now I'm exhausted.

The highlights were Show of Hands, Edward II and Treacherous Orchestra. Show of Hands, who are one of my favourite bands ever, were recording a live album there, a live album you only get via mail order at the stall - and if you do order it, you get your name in the booklet as a "backing singer" because of the audience participation. Did I order it? Well duh! ^_^

This festival was one I went to every year of my life until it moved to its present location in 2012, but I enjoyed it enough to consider returning full time. Its located next to a white horse and a huge chimney, and both were lit all nice and fancy at night, something I'd never seen before.
