Delicious Grace

Post by alcapone_dudu » 15 Dec 2017, 20:17

Hello guys. First time here. I would like to introduce you to Delicious Grace. It's a musical project where they write their own songs. They are just starting out.

I know it's hard to pay attention to something you don't know nor have heard of but we are trying. Hope you like it:

I dunno man. Kinda weird for you to show up out of nowhere and start talking about this band no one else knows.

If this is your band, fuck you. If not, you need to learn how to make better first impressions.

Okay so it's probably you. https://www.morrissey-solo.com/threads/ ... ce.140913/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

As far as the song itself goes, it's not the worst song I've ever heard but the singing is definitely the weak point. There's a part around two minutes in where the singer just sorta moans and it's really off-putting.

If you cut the song at 3:23, it would be a better song. Not sure why you left all that extra stuff in.

Sorry if you didn't like the approach I made. But I didn't get the animosity. It's a new project. What's wrong with that? If you don't like, that's ok.

Yes, I'm involved in it.

Regarding your second reply:

Thanks for listening to it.

We're aware of the singing. There was only one guy who could do it by the time it was recorded and he did the best he could. We have more songs on the way to be recorded and it will sound a lot better. The vocal department is our priority.

The length of the song I knew from the get go it was going to be a ''problem''. But that's the way we felt the song. It's hard to explain. We felt the song was asking for a diferent ending and it led to what you heard.

the animosity is because these were the first posts you made on the forum. if you had been here for a while, posting for a while, this would not be a problem.

don't jump right out of the gates with self-promotion. it's not a good look.

Hi guys. It's been a while. This is a song I wrote called ''The Boy from Memphis''. It's still in demo status but I really wanted to share it with Elvis' fans (I guess we've got a few around here).

A humble homage to one of the greatest singers of all time. Hope you enjoy:

Hello everybody. I usually don't write about this particular subject but I couldn't help it. Here it goes a political statement about something really wrong. Take it for what it is.

Hello everybody. We've got a new demo out. It's called ''Nocturnal''. Hope you like it.

CIRCADIAN RHYTHM
The Latin words circa diem translate to ‘about a day’. Circadian rhythms are pretty ancient. They are a result of life that evolved on a planet that rotates over a period of 24 hours. Being able to anticipate daily environmental fluctuations is remarkably useful, hence these biological clocks are virtually ubiquitous. Disrupting them causes complications. Circadian rhythms are therefore fascinating on a molecular, medical and evolutionary level.

Delicious got a new demo out. It's called "Queen Of England''.

====================

This song was based on a film called ‘’King Charles III’’. It seemed an interesting subject to write about.

I would like to clarify this is not a political statement. I've lived in England for a period of my life and have nothing to complain about. It’s just a fun song based on a fictional situation.
