in that interview damon said this way of performing lyrics was a lou reed inspiration. I dont totally like it in merrie land. while it IS ok it kind of shows some of the weaknesses that his recent years lyrically content more than when its sung. the now now has some ok moments but overall it just sounds like missed production opportunities. I'd be interested to hear more but only if there is less radio effect on everything.
