Re: The Magic Whip Tour

I'd rather have it 2/3 full than resort to giving rest of tickets away for next to nothing to casuals and cheapskates. Be so annoyed if they do that fiver trick to get rid of remaining stock. Atmosphere will be even worse full of drunken nobs with no real regard for music.

Re: The Magic Whip Tour

I still can't work out why the Blur date cost way more than all the other nights. And still no other decent acts added to the bill :?

Re: The Magic Whip Tour

I only want 1 ticket so if successful I'll get an extra one for someone on here. Anyone else want to do the same? Double your chances.

Re: The Magic Whip Tour (UK SHOWS ANNOUNCED)

Absolute disgrace. Usually its the other way around with fans getting ripped off with extortionate prices after its 'sold out'.

Re: The Magic Whip Tour

Off that week but all a bit too far from the Midlands for me. Was so hoping for a Wolverhampton warm-up again. Oh well just have to stick with Hyde Park this time. Can't believe the whinges about a lack of southern dates. You get more than your fair share.

Just had an e-mail off Amazon telling me I've been refunded £2 for my pre-ordered CD because it has dropped down to £8.99 :D

My copy got delivered from Amazon this afternoon! Seems weird on a Sunday. Not that I'm complaining.

Re: The Magic Whip Tour

Hyde Park ticket arrived this morning.
Unusually early these days. Though given the mass availability of tickets still, any touts have been stung anyway.

Re: The Magic Whip Tour

I'd be very surprised if Glastonbury had 3 American headliners. Likewise I'd be even more surprised if Blur were allowed to headline when they're already doing Isle of Wight festival.

Wasn't Under the West way on the Radio 2 playlist? They seemed to play it loads at the time.

Re: The Magic Whip Tour

If Hyde Park totally sells out without the ticket prices being lowered I will be VERY surprised. I'm surprised this is a done thing. It's almost like the promotors admitting they fucked up with the original price. And who knows what sort of drunken casual crowd it'll attract when they've practicall...
