Probably my favourite Pulp song! Love it!

Re: Super Furry Animals

Love the Super Furries, so I'll need to rank the albums.

1. Hey Venus
2. Rings Around the world
3. Radiator
4. Phantom Powers
5. Guerilla
6. Fuzzy Logic
7. Lovekraft
8. Dark days/light years

Only heard Mwng a couple of times, but plan to change that.

Likewise, great song and the outro is amazing.

I would say the problem with The Great Escape is more songs like Ernold Same and Topman.

I love the album though!

Yeah, to me it implied Damon wrote the lyrics.

Have to say I thought Graham's vocals were amazing too, as I mentioned I usually just prefer Damon singing, but Graham's vocals definately added something to the songs like others had previously said!

Re: Secret London gig, March 20 (stream on March 25)

Eh, so Blur in their mid-late 40s have just produced their masterpiece! An incredible album, I actually feel like crying with joy!! Blown me away!!!!! Thought I was a spaceman was probably my favourite there, a few of my friends will be getting copies of this whether they want it or not, I am spread...

Re: The Good, The Bad & The Queen Thread

Great album, but I definitely think the production stopped it from being the best it could be. The songs all sounded 100 times better live, except Hurculean, which was one of the few successes production wise. The production sucked a lot of the emotion out of the album and made the album kind of ste...

Re: NEW ALBUM: The Magic Whip

That beard adds 10 years to Graham. :D

Is anyone else making sure they just soak up all this build up to a new album? Never thought we would have this again, it really makes me feel like a teenager again.

Mmm, i'm not happy with it only getting an 8, still pretty positive though.

They should hopefully start rolling out over the next couple of weeks, thanks for posting!

Re: Lonesome Street

heard it for the first time just now, i like the energy its a good song, it seems like a good album opener but its still not single quality Wow, almost a fully positive post from Westway! Although when you say single quality, what do you mean? Being a single is never the benchmark of a good song.

Re: The Magic Whip Commercial Expectations

No chance Lonesome Street will be number 1, think people are just getting a bit carried away. Blur aren't in that market anymore and videos certainly as important as they used to be, hence why bands tend to put less effort in to them nowadays. I also don't see Lonesome Street as having the potential...

Favourite song out of the 3 officially released?

There are too many of us is a clear winner for me so far, beautiful song. If I was ranking, it would have to be: 1. There are too many of us 2. Go Out ( Love it musically, not one of my favourite vocals from Damon.) 3. Lonesome Street ( I'm not sure why yet, but not loving this song at all, don't ha...
