Re: "The Magic Whip" Ice Cream (+exclusive download)

A store a couple of miles from me, so will try as it's near home.

Hopefully get some for TFI tonight!

Re: Merchandise & Comic Book

Have attached some images of the tour shirt to indicate the print quality.

I liked The Good The Bad and the Queen t-shirt I got at their gig, when it wasn't screen print. Screen print sucks!

Re: Gig: Blackpool, 10 June

I guess it's hard to judge as depending on where you've been in the crowd (i.e. arses/casuals around you), the crowd in general, the venue factor, the setlist, they all factor in. This was the best gig I have ever been too. The Barras factor is not fiction, it really is magical! Glasgow setlist was ...

Re: Gig: Blackpool, 10 June

I do agree, Ghost Ship is a topper, but see why they'd want to trim that to proceed to the middle core of the setlist incase there were any more difficulties. Glasgow was always going to be the gold standard of the tour due to it being the Barras, but feel extra lucky to have attended now. Let's hop...

Re: Gig: Glasgow, 9 June

Miko - Do understand that, but would prefer another one from Think Tank, Leisure or MLIR as the better ones on there are still better than the poor TMW ones. Not that there are poor tracks, speaking relatively of course :-)

Re: Beck Thread

I'm not a massive Beck fan, but do like a selection of his stuff. There aren't many albums in which surround sound is utilised well except the Flaming Lips and Beck's Sea Change. The BD audio version of Sea Change is one of the best musica experiences I've ever had when played over a well set-up 5.1...

Re: Gig: BST Hyde Park, 20 June

When is a stage times guide likely to be released? Anyone know this from going previously?

Re: Gig: Blackpool, 10 June

Feel sorry for the band and the fans at this one. I'm glad that it did get dragged back to where it should've been.

Was it just unlucky, or should it have been prevented? It's not like Blur fans are the most physically mental for a gig either.

Re: Gig: Glasgow, 9 June

Think they are playing enough from TMW. We got 8 of 12 songs from TMW. I think any more would've been definitely pushing it, are people expecting the full album? Bands wouldn't generally do anymore than 75% of a new album at their tour of it. I'd have Pyongyang in there instead of Mirrorball. It's a...

Re: Concert - Hyde Park

The line-up isn't great. You could pick a ticket up for £40-50 most likely from Gumtree etc. I listed both mine for £90 in the Sell section of this forum, but after seeing them again last night I'm now thinking about travelling down! For info, I bought them as part of a combination package, which is...

Re: Merchandise & Comic Book

The merchandise is great, lots of variation. I really like the back of the long-sleeved green sweatshirt, but think the front is a bit rubbish. Prices a bit steep on the novely items. Think at a fiver, they'd shift a lot more yo-yo's. I got the album cover tour t-shirt at the gig last night. Toying ...
