Re: Apprentice (13 album art) to be auctioned

Yes. I queried it, and commented that the item description is vague. This was the reply.

It's a good cause, good luck to anyone who can afford to support it, but I can't justify a £500 premium in this instance.

Re: "The End of the F***ing World" - full soundtrack album

That'll be Graham tinckling the keys... Firstly, he'd not lie. Secondly he's perfectly capable of playing that, there's no need to get Damon in. There aren't liner notes, it's just a red record in a sleeve. I don't think it is the album, actually, looking at the track listing. Just a massive single?...

Re: "The End of the F***ing World" - full soundtrack album

I like it Mostly. There are a few tracks that are good accompanying music for a TV show but not necessarily tunes I'd like to listen to on a standalone basis.

I've wangled a promo copy in red vinyl. It's wasted on me as I've not got a gramophone or anything. I'll have to buy one.

Re: New Graham Coxon message board!

What she said... I've been posting there for years, and I found myself adopting the role of resident liberal type who didn't actually think Donald Trump's right about anything. I used it and engaged, but I'm not going to be shamed for supporting views which I clearly didn't, thank you very much. It ...

Re: New Graham Coxon message board!

- I've just checked the private messages. That reply makes Veikko look more uncooperative than he actually was. The actual response was more "everyone's welcome, but we'e a quiet board and I'd prefer to keep all Blur related chat ion the Blur page." Which was fair enough, really.

Re: New Graham Coxon message board!

I'm giving it a chance. The idea to attempt to capitalise on the demographic of people who love Graham AND Tommy Robinson was clearly a misstep, with hindsight. A clean slate isn't a bad idea. FWIW when the official forum got closed down I asked Veikko whether he'd consider giving Graham a page here...

Re: Squeeze Thread

As for Squeeze influencing Blur, I wondered if it was more the other way round by the mid 90s. This, for instance: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0rY5506sboQ" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Glenn had even bought himself a yellow Tele. You may disagree, but he sounds a bit Conxonesque ...

Re: Squeeze Thread

I know the greatest hits, but that's about it, so I've decided to start at the beginning, so I'm playing their album on Spotify. It's less slick than I expected, but it's a bit of an eye opener. They were great from the off. Surely on Blur's list of influences? https://open.spotify.com/track/5Bk4pGG...

Re: Forum improvements?

I like that idea. I hadn't heard about the GC forum! That's sad news :( They've setup a new site now. If anyone wants to talk Graham, or anything else for that matter, they can find it here: http://www.grahamcoxon.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; At the time of writing it's got a...

Re: Forum improvements?

It was shut without warning, but it was less busy than the old Blur forum, and there had been murmerings that 'management' couldn't really see the point of it. It's their call and it's fair enough really, there were only a handful of active users, and they'd support Graham's solo antics whether ther...

Re: Forum improvements?

Hello.

Warner have pulled the plug on Graham's forum. It is no more, it's joined the choir invisible etc. Might it be an idea to shoe-horn in a Grahamcentric sub-board here? If it's as quiet as Graham's was it might not be worth it?

Just a suggestion.

Re: The Bluetones Thread

Fact is, Devlin is a hell of a guitarist I didn't realise how funny he was. I know it's a thread about music, but you've got to respect a man with the wit to write this review of Kula Shaker's tea towel. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Kula-Shaker-Cotton-Art247-46x70cm/dp/B007M8H23G" onclick="window.open(...
