Re: the Good, the Bad & the Queen - the end?

Has there ever been a greater rhythm section? I highly doubt it... I love TGTB&TQ but yes, there have been better rhythm sections. A shed load. It’s definitely the end. Such a sad thought. Their last album was a masterpiece. But I do agree that previously unreleased tracks could see the light of da...

Re: Is The Great Escape the worst Blur album?

It seems I’m in the vast minority of people who LOVE Mr. Robinson's Quango. Why do others hate it so?

Re: B-Roads

I agree that it should have been leaked by now. Nearly 30 years on, who cares about the content? Press won't. Blur are as far away from the mainstream as they can possibly be right now.

Re: Is The Great Escape the worst Blur album?

Great album. Underrated. Although Ernold Same with the dire Ken Livingstone should never have been recorded, let alone included on the ALBUM.

RIP Tony Allen

So sad to hear about the passing of Tony Allen. Confirmed by Dave on Facebook. “ Such sad news tonight to hear the passing of Tony Allen, who many of you will have met and seen perform live. He was part of the extended Blur family. Lets all say a prayer and light a candle and think of his wonderful ...

Re: The Beatles Thread

I just listened to it. The audio isn’t great so I wouldn’t read into his breathing that much. But it sounds like it’s just a slower version of the song. Kind of like what Bob Dylan does to his most well known songs now when playing live. They sound completely different to the original recording.

Re: OFFICIAL STAR WARS THREAD

I didn't know The Rise Of Skywalker was already on Disney+? I just looked and don't see it on there.

The Mandalorian was indeed excellent. The only negative? More episodes in a season please!! So good, can't wait for season 2.

Re: OFFICIAL STAR WARS THREAD

I thought it was heads and shoulders above The Last Jedi. I mean - how could it be worse? But seriously, I enjoyed it. However I do think there was a hell of a lot packed in to one movie. Sadly JJ had so much to set straight after the mess of the previous film that he spent most of the movie doing j...
