I bought one edition of the vinyl, I forget which. 1 of 3000. $25, why not? I think it's yellow, ordered off the Beatles website. But yeah, so many different editions. I've seen people in Facebook groups who have ALL OF THEM.
An average album for sure. Already forgotten about it, sad to say.

Re: The Beatles Thread
Listened to the album in full finally. A few good moments (emphasis on A FEW) but overall disappointing. You take away the McCartney name on the front of the album and it could be anyone. I hate to say it but I think people are only praising it because it's Paul... One of his weaker works by a long ...

Re: Gorillaz - Song Machine
It hasn't made any lists because promotion and marketing (as always with Damon albums) has been shite.

Re: The Beatles Thread
MCCARTNEY III: Initial thoughts??? I listened to the first two tracks this morning after I woke up. Long Tailed Winter Bird is extremely catchy and that guitar riff has been stuck in my head all day. Lavatory Lil is exceptional on every level. The ONLY downside is his voice. "Find My Way" for exampl...

Those prices can’t be real. If they are I’ve got quite a collection.
Album, singles, t-shirts, Observer CD. I’ve got the lot and a few other things as well.

Strange Timez has the perfect blend of Damon and guest singers in my opinion.

Re: The Great Escape 25th anniversary vinyl!!
The first Blur album I listened to after finding it in my dads collection. Not their best but maybe my favourite due to the memories I have of playing it loud in my bedroom, air guitar on stand by. I'm not fussed about the lack of extra material. Vinyl looks good. A nice thing to have.

No need to be a dick after the year we've all had. COVID and the risk of contracting it is serious. I wouldn't be comfortable going to any indoor event socially distanced or not.

No thanks, the album was bad enough.

Re: new Graham gig | Live For Beirut | Jazz Cafe 12 December 2020
Seems stupid. Well, let's just say if it was here in America I wouldn't be anywhere near the gig. Super spreader waiting to happen. UK might be ok but still... The set up seems fine to me, looks from the seating plan like tables only and suitably distanced No worse than being in a restaurant I have...

Re: WigWam Appreciation Thread
I'm still waiting for that Ailerons LP... Honestly, I really hope it gets released. From my understanding the album was almost finished. And I know Dave mentioned in one of his Zoom chats this year that he still hopes it'll be released at some point. The songs were excellent at the gig I went to (C...

BUMP!
Over 14 years have passed since WigWam came into our lives during the "Dark Years" of no Blur. Wow. Can't believe it's been that long. I remember being excited about any Blur related project at the time but now looking back, wow, atrocious.

Re: Blur - The Magic Whip
Yep, good album. My love for it has been waning as the years have passed by. Unlike the original run of albums. That said, still a good effort and enjoyable. For me it was the experience of the album release that made it so great at the time. MODE, various UK shows, an interview with Dave. Truly wo...
