Not sure what this is, but Graham is involved, and he apparently does vocals too:

Re: First Blur single turns 30
Incredible. So Blur, to kids nowadays, are more ancient than the Beatles were when Blur began their career. Kind of hard to process.

Re: addiction and blur
As others have said, everyone in the music industry was doing drugs (and maybe still is?). I was watching a documentary that Pitchfork did about Slowdive, and Alan McGee was saying that when Creation signed a band, the first thing they were offered was cocaine and other drugs (for the record, he off...

That was indeed a magical performance. But what made me realize what a classic Tender is, was this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SVmffdNYi-A

Re: Is The Great Escape the worst Blur album?
I never understood Tender properly until I witnessed this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pB8_8tsmg2Y The most magical moment of any performance I've witnessed. Still brings me goosebumps just thinking about it! I knew that was the Glastonbury performance before I clicked. Magical performance. But...

Re: In Conversation with Graham Coxon video.
I hadn't seen this before, but then I realized it just came out today (even though the discussion is from January). 🙂 I think he actually played Coffee and tv at this convention (although he didn't sing it). I have seen a lot of these videos with Graham and they're always so interesting. I think the...

Re: Blur fan first and foremost or Damon Albarn fan?
Blur for sure. I had heard "Clint Eastwood" years ago, and I didn't care for it. At the time I didn't know that Damon was behind the Gorillaz, but I really haven't heard anything by them that I like. I have heard a couple of albums by them, and they're not my thing at all. I haven't had any interest...

Re: The Great Escape = the code for life
Damon was taking the piss out of people who have country houses, you know? And most of the Great Escape is mostly about the mandatory drain and dull of being a working person with not much to show... a flat in a suburb 'pretty close' to the one you want to be in... Definitely not an album celebrati...

Re: Gorillaz tour 2021
To be honest, I've never gotten into Gorillaz. The more I listen to Gorillaz, the more I realize that what I like about Blur is Graham's work. Just my opinion of course.

My favorite song out of these is Yuko and Hiro, but as an album closer I think Essex Dogs is the best.

I don't think TGE is their worst album, although it is probably my least favorite.

I think the Magic Whip is a good album. Not as good as some of their best, but still a good one.

I think Graham has done some really great work with these soundtracks. Probably some of his best.
