Trivia:

  • A+E is a concept record about "a terrible night out" which ends up in Accident & Emergency department (A+E also stands for "a 'n' knee", joked Graham).
  • The album was recorded as early as in 2010, but the release was delayed because Graham was without a record label. Another ten tracks were recorded at the same time, but they remain unreleased.
  • As opposed to his previous album The Spinning Top, Graham wanted A+E to have a 'dirty' and 'organic' feel and didn't care much whether the guitars are tuned properly or tracks cleaned up afterwards.
  • The full album was listenable as a free stream on The Guardian website a week before the release. Also, "The Truth" was available as a free MP3 once you subscribed to the official Graham Coxon mailing list.
  • Total running time (standard ver.): 47:56
